Barcelona is such a fun city, it has a little bit of everything- beach, city, art, culture, history, restaurants, nice people.

I like that there is always something to do and it’s a city where you will meet people from all over the world and have plans every single day. Two of my best friends live there so I’ve visit twice, and each time was different and there were new things to explore.

By the beach

  • ‎Terraza Martinez: paella with a view (it is more towards Montjuic mountain, i.e. not on the pier)

  • Merendero de la Mari / Can Majó: local cuisine, seafood and paella

  • Gallito / Pez Vela ‎(below W hotel): tapas or seafood

  • ‎Surf House BCN / Maka Maka: "hipster", good for burgers

Born / Las Ramblas / Poble Nou

  • Fismuler: creative cuisine, live music from Thu-Sat

  • Bar Lobo: tapas

  • El Mama Barcelona: Spanish cuisine with live performance

  • Ikebana: sushi

  • Eixample (around Paseo de Gracia and Diagonal)

  • Cachitos Rambla / Cheri: Spanish food, nice terrace, nice decoration (great sangría)

  • Feroz: pre-party restaurant, also good for drinks

  • Boca Grande: upscale restaurant for paella

  • ‎Bellavista del Jardín del Norte: Messi's restaurant

  • Ciudad Condal: iconic for tapas

  • Hotel Casa Fuster Rooftop

  • Hotel Majestic Rooftop / Hotel Condes de Barcelona Rooftop

  • Boca Chica

  • Feroz: pre-drinks place for Bling Bling

  • El Nacional: food court next to Plaza Catalunya, nice to visit for a drink and a tapa

  • Opium Barcelona: the best club in Barcelona pier, mix of local and international crew

  • Pacha Barcelona: #2 best in Barcelona pier

  • W Barcelona: top floor in W hotel / pool parties on Sunday afternoon

  • Bling Bling: mostly locals
